Linda D. Davis, Owner
Linda, a two-time graduate of Roosevelt University,
has her Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and a Certificate
in Meeting, Convention
and Exposition Management. Linda has had a passion for planning events
since graduating high school and has planned her 10th, 20th and in
August 2007, her 30th Year High School Reunion.
Professionally, Linda has been a legal secretary for 25 years, 23 of
which have been for a major Chicago law firm.
Linda loves planning events, meetings, social functions and seeing it
come to fruition. In addition to her education from Roosevelt University
and her exceptional computer and managerial skills, she has the organizational
skills and attention to detail necessary to handle events from start
to finish.
She has planned annual events for Go on Girl Book Club, Inc., a national
book club that boasts 300 members in 13 states. She has been the IL#1 Chapter Facilitator since 1996 and from 2004-2008, she was the Award
Weekend Chair planning the Annual Author Award Weekend Conferences for
hundreds of members and guests. As the Award Weekend Chair, she has
planned the Award Weekend Conference in Montego Bay, Jamaica (May 2005), Tempe, Arizona (June 2006), Cleveland, Ohio (June 2007), and in Toronto, Ontario (June 2008). She takes pride in having hosted and planning the
GOG Award Weekend Conference in Chicago in June 2000 with nearly 300 members and guests in attendance.
For two (2) years, Linda has planned the Annual Breakfast Fundraiser for the Vivian G. Harsh Society, Woodson Library, Chicago, IL. Linda has also been involved with Chicago Special Events and Chicago Humanities Festival helping them plan events in and around Chicago. In July 2007, she planned
her Family Reunion in Gatlinburg, Tennessee for 100 family members.
Linda loves planning events at unique locales and have hosted events at a train station, an art gallery and a bookstore.
Linda has joined the Chicago groups: South Suburban Event Planners Group and Chicago Event Planners Group.
